When Sandia Resort & Casino reopened after over a year of being closed during the pandemic for safety and renovations, only five members of the cleaning staff could return. Traci Poyer was at the top of her manager’s list to ensure the task of cleaning and setting up the new rooms were well done. Traci stepped into multiple roles upon the property’s reopening, ranging from Guest Room Attendant to House Person to Inspector. Traci stayed ahead of schedule each day and was able to get more done each day. This was not an easy task as all of the new guest room items were in boxes. She is extremely detail-oriented and a team player, which are stand-out attributes to her team members. On top of that, she has an outstanding personality and is friendly with coworkers and guests who often mention their positive experiences with her on Trip Advisor.
